Matthew 14 28-31
"Lord, if it's you," Peter replied, "tell me to come to you on the water." "Come," he said. Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water and came toward Jesus. But when he saw the wind, he was afraid and, beginning to sink, cried out, "Lord, save me!"Immediately Jesus reached out his hand and caught him. "You of little faith," he said, "why did you doubt?"

Reading this made me think of how many times I have prayed "Lord if this is your will then let me walk in it." and so knowing its the Lords will I step out In faith on the promise that its going to be okay. Starting out I keep my gaze fixed on Him trusting that He is capable in keeping his promise. But as I move forward I start to look to the right and left and I realize that Im in the middle of a storm with large waves crashing all around. Forgetting that the only person that keeps me above it all is Christ, I start to worry. Measuring the waves of this life through the eyes of man, knowing that if anyone of them overtakes me, Ill be finished. Overwhelmed by this thought I start to panic, the water breaks beneath me plunging me below its surface. Gasping for air I start to realize that this world has and knows no mercy and will swallow me alive if I so let it. With what seems to be my last breath before I go under I call upon the the Lord Jesus Christ to save me from this ocean of death. And so out of compassion He reaches down into the water takes hold of my hand and pulls me out setting me firmly on top again. "You of little faith" he says "why did you doubt?"

Someone once said "That which is over our head, is already underneath His feet". Trust Him and He will walk with you through the humanly impossible storms.
